BOOK ORDER POLICY
We’re happy to place special orders for books we don’t currently have in stock. However, due to the small size of our business and limited space for holding items, the following policy applies:
Full payment is required before any order is placed. We will not process unpaid or pending requests.
Once your book arrives, it will be held for up to 3 weeks from the date of notification. After that, it will be returned to store inventory and no refunds or store credit will be issued.
Shipping is available upon request for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance if you’d like your book mailed instead of picked up in-store.
BOOK ORDER PROCESS
In-Store Requests: Let us know what you’re looking for. We’ll check availability and pricing and, if it’s eligible, prepare an invoice for payment.
Once paid, your book will be ordered, and we’ll notify you when it arrives. Pickup is expected within 3 weeks unless shipping is requested.
Online Requests: Email us at read@leftonreadbooks.com with your book request. Please include:
-Title and author (include ISBN if you have it
-Whether you want in-store pickup or shipping
-If requesting shipping, include your full mailing address
-Your name and contact info
Please allow 3–5 business days for us to determine availability and respond with next steps. If the book is eligible for order, we will send an invoice.
No books will be ordered until the invoice is paid in full.
