Join us for our second-ever Storytime at Left on Read!
This Saturday, November 8, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we’re welcoming guest reader Veronica Kelly, who will share Little Nita’s Big Idea by Anna W. Bardaus: the 2025 Kansas Reads to Preschoolers featured book!
In this story, a young girl named Nita has a big, delicious idea to make a giant fruit salad for her community, pushing through challenges to bring everyone together. The book celebrates community, diversity, and fresh, healthy foods: a perfect fit for National Family Literacy Month.
Bring the kids, cousins, aunties and uncles (the entire crew!) to celebrate stories that feed both the heart and the imagination.
