Looking for a cozy, creative space for your next gathering? Left on Read is available to rent for private events, meetings, and intimate celebrations. The space is ideal for book clubs, business meetings, team retreats, creative workshops, wellness sessions, intimate events, podcast recordings, livestreams, author events (e.g., book launches, signings, readings), pop-ups, and more.

Receive Your Quote & Terms
If your date is available, we’ll send a quote and the rental terms. Pricing varies depending on the type and duration of your event. Rentals typically include a two-hour minimum.
Secure Your Date
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. Your reservation is not confirmed until this deposit is received. Full payment is due 48 hours before your event. Additional fees may apply for extended time, equipment use, setup/cleanup, or staffing if needed.
Please note: Smoking, open flames, and any wall-mounted décor are not permitted. Decorations must be free-standing—nothing may be taped, hung, or otherwise attached to the walls. Balloons must be properly secured or weighted due to the height of the ceilings and airflow in the space.
There is no kitchen access or refrigeration available, so we recommend bringing a cooler for cold items and a warming device for hot food if needed. All food and drink must remain in designated areas, and a protective barrier such as a tablecloth or placemats is required under all serving dishes. No food or beverages may be placed on bookshelves or displays. Outside food and beverages are welcome unless otherwise noted.
Renters are responsible for setup and cleanup unless arranged in advance. All events must end on time to respect the building’s shared use and staff schedules.

A deposit is required to secure your reservation and will be applied toward the total rental fee.
Reservations must be made at least one month in advance. Requests made less than 30 days before the desired date may be subject to a last-minute booking fee.

A card will be kept on file in the event of excess cleaning needs, damages, or failure to comply with these policies. Additional charges may apply if the space is not returned to its original condition.
