Join us at Left on Read for a powerful evening of dialogue, discovery, and deep connection as we welcome Dr. Jonathan P. Higgins, author of Black. Fat. Femme.: Revealing the Power of Visibly Queer Voices in Media and Learning to Love Yourself.
This live Q&A will be moderated by Shaundrieka Townes, LCSW, a dynamic licensed clinical social worker and mental health advocate who brings warmth, wisdom, and lived expertise to the conversation.
Together, we’ll talk about what it means to take up space, show up fully, and embrace visibility—especially at the intersections of race, gender, size, and queerness. Bring your questions, your community, and your whole self.
